Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

MultiScreen exists to help you underwrite deals, not to monetize your data. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect and how we handle it.

What we collect

  • ·Account information: your name and email address when you create an account (managed by our authentication provider, Clerk).
  • ·Deal data: the underwriting assumptions and results you enter and save. Your deal data belongs to you.
  • ·Billing information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • ·Coach conversations: the questions you ask the in-app Coach and the answers it gives. To answer them the Coach can see your plan, your progress through the quick start, and your pipeline at a summary level: deal names, pipeline stage, market, whether a deal has been scored, and how long since you touched it. It is never given your prices, returns, rents, or any other figure from a deal.
  • ·Usage data: we use analytics (PostHog) to understand which features are used so we can improve the product.
  • ·Security and session data: when you sign in and use the service we collect your IP address, device and browser information, and session activity (such as sign-in times and active sessions). We use this to secure your account and to enforce per-seat licensing.

How we use it

  • ·To provide the service: run calculations, save your deals, generate your reports and exports.
  • ·To bill you for a Pro subscription and manage your plan.
  • ·To send you transactional emails about your account, and, if you opted in, product updates. You can unsubscribe anytime.
  • ·To answer your questions in the Coach, and to keep your past conversations available to you across your devices.
  • ·To improve MultiScreen based on aggregate, de-identified usage patterns.
  • ·To keep accounts secure and enforce our license terms, including detecting unauthorized credential sharing across devices or locations.

What we never do

  • ·We do not sell your personal information or your deal data.
  • ·We do not share your underwriting assumptions or saved deals with other users or third parties, except the service providers below acting on our behalf.
  • ·We do not use your deal data or your Coach conversations to train models or build datasets for anyone else. Our AI provider is contractually barred from training on what we send them.

Service providers

  • ·We rely on a small set of processors to run MultiScreen: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), PostHog (product analytics), Kit (email), and Anthropic (the AI behind document import, generated documents, the deal critique, and the Coach). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
  • ·Anthropic processes the content you send to an AI feature: a document you upload for import, the deal summary behind a generated memo or critique, and your Coach questions with the pipeline summary described above. They do not train on it and do not retain it for their own purposes.

Security & retention

  • ·All calculations run server-side and traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Saved deals live in your private account and are retained until you delete them or close your account.
  • ·Documents you import (an OM, T12, or rent roll) are retained with the deal so you can download or re-import them later. They are stored at unguessable private links and are deleted when you delete the deal or your account.
  • ·Coach conversations are kept for 90 days after your last message in them, then deleted automatically. You can delete all of them at any time from Settings, under Your data.
  • ·If you delete your account, we delete your personal data, saved deals, and Coach conversations within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights & contact

  • ·You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account, or by emailing us.

Advertising pixels & your choices

  • ·Our marketing pages may use advertising pixels from Meta and LinkedIn so we can reach people who visited MultiScreen with relevant ads elsewhere.
  • ·These pixels see standard web events only: pages viewed, a signup or checkout started. We never send your deal data, underwriting assumptions, or saved deals to any ad platform.
  • ·California residents: sending this data to ad platforms can count as “sharing” under the CPRA. Use the toggle below to opt out in this browser. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect.
